I'm a Design Engineer and AI Product Designer who helps teams turn ideas into delightful, usable products — with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and craft.
I blend user research, interaction design, and front-end engineering to build products that feel effortless. My work is guided by empathy and a commitment to building accessible experiences that scale.
Whether I'm shaping strategy with stakeholders, prototyping in Figma, or shipping production-ready UI, I focus on creating clarity, confidence, and delight for users.
I've spent 15+ years designing across healthcare, enterprise, education, and community platforms — leading teams, building design systems, and delivering products used by millions.
20 Most Outstanding Women of the Capital Region — Business Review 2024
Here's what most resumes don't tell you about me.
I'm a wife, a mom, and a maker — and honestly, those three things shape everything about how I work and why I do it. I live just outside Albany, New York with my husband Jason, our two boys Casey (11) and Austin (8), and Lacey, our 13-year-old dog who has seen it all and remains unimpressed by deadlines.
Being a mom to two active boys keeps me grounded in what really matters: building things that last, showing up consistently, and leading by example. Casey and Austin are the reason I coach Little League, the reason I pour so much energy into the Schalmont PTO, and honestly, a big part of the reason I care so deeply about community.
When I'm not at a baseball diamond or a school event, I'm feeding my maker instincts — designing with my Cricut and WeCreat, crafting jewelry, woodworking, making wine, or doing airbrush face painting. Creating things with my hands keeps me connected to the tactile, human side of design that can get lost in a world of screens and sprints.
What ties all of this together is a simple belief: the best experiences — digital or otherwise — are the ones that bring people together. That's what gets me out of bed every morning, and it's what I bring to every project I touch.
Community Leadership
Executive President of the Schalmont Central Schools PTO — leading a unified organization spanning 4 schools, 2,000+ students, and 350+ staff. I manage a team of 14, oversee a $70,000 budget, and have raised over $60,000 in two years through innovative fundraising. Built the district website and grew the social community from 0 to 2,500+ followers in three years.
I build in short feedback loops — starting with research, moving to prototypes, and finishing with polished front-end delivery.
I start by understanding the problem space through stakeholder interviews, user research, and competitor analysis.
I translate research into wireframes, prototypes, and UI that meet business goals and delight users.
I turn designs into responsive, accessible code — ensuring the end product is reliable and easy to maintain.
