The Context
Merck Millipore is the life science division of Merck KGaA, producing filtration systems, reagents, and lab equipment for research institutions, biopharmaceutical manufacturers, and clinical laboratories worldwide. The audience — scientists, lab directors, and procurement teams — demands accuracy, credibility, and clarity in every piece of communication.
I was brought in to produce high-impact campaign creative that could communicate complex scientific value propositions clearly and compellingly — from full-page trade journal ads to digital banners running across industry publications like BioTech Now.
My Role
I served as senior designer across the Merck Millipore account — responsible for concept development, layout design, and production-ready file delivery across print, digital, and trade show formats. Every project required a strong understanding of the Merck brand architecture and the technical nature of their product lines.
Working directly with account managers and scientific copywriters, I translated highly technical product messaging into layouts that balanced brand credibility with visual clarity — ensuring every design met both brand standards and regulatory requirements for life science communications.
Campaign work produced for Merck Millipore's Mobius filtration product line earned recognition in the Mobius Awards — a testament to the impact of strong creative in a highly technical, B2B space.
